Lakonia Hotel - Sparta

Decent cleanliness overall. Convenient late check-out offer.

The beds were hard, and the duvet generated static electricity. The ironing board is a tabletop model-making it awkward to use without a proper table required either sitting or kneeling on the floor. Breakfast items were removed before the stated time, so even though paid, it went untasted.

Staff at reception were very helpful, the room was deluxe compared to our usual backpacker hotels, and the breakfast was great.

The breakfast of the hotel restaurant was savoury and tasty with a toaster. Its location was incredible and beautiful to the bus terminal.

The breakfast buffet was awesome, with a ton of choices. The room was super clean and had a nice kettle for tea. I loved the extra pillows and the efficient A/C. The staff were really friendly, and it was a great value overall ☕

Staff is vey god and helpfull. The rooms are clean and the price also.

There is a lot of pub near the hotzl so it was a little bit noisy

It is in the middle of Sparta, a very busy and noisy city. But, that's not the fault of the hotel itself. If you don't like such busy cities (like we), stay out of Sparta itself, and go to Mistras (which is very quiet and with "nothing going on"), If it is hot, you can miss a pool.

The Twin Room at Lakonia impressed with its great location. I could easily stroll to restaurants and the archaeological museum. I appreciated the outside balcony, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The staff came through with their helpfulness, even providing tips about local spots. The shower room felt small and cramped, and noise from the nearby street disrupted my sleep. An ironing board without a table was awkward to use, having to kneel on the floor. A couple of lights in the room didn't work properly. Cleanliness was great, but some room fittings could use an update.

The place, exactly in the center of town, the staff, very helpful and courteous.

Truly enjoyed my REALLY GOOD stay in this historic town. The breakfast was savoury with the famous greek yogourt, well-maintained variation and orange juice, had everything you could want.

The shower space was really tight, but the room had a great vibe.

Parking on the street was no problem. We were in Sparta for only one night and the price was right.

A good central location!

"Air Conditioning" is a bit inaccurate. When we called to say that the air conditioning wasn't really cooling down the room, we were told that it wasn't "air conditioning" per se but rather just a "climatizer" or something of the like. And the street noise was so loud that we couldn't really keep the windows open to keep cool... That unfortunately kept the room from being comfortable.

The cleanliness throughout the hotel was commendable, making for a pleasant stay.

The bathroom was quite small, and the ventilation noise was noticeably loud.

Overall nice hotel with neat room and good location.
